Farmhouse Fresh Goods

Our latest find @ The Mercantile is a line called Farmhouse Fresh Goods. The company is based out of Texas, and all items are hand packaged.

The sugar scrub is signed by the employee who lovingly packaged it and comes with a cute wooden spoon to scoop it out! The sugar scrub was listed on Oprah's O list in March of 2007.

Our favorite so far is the Honey Heel Glaze, which is made from real honey and hints of cinnamon. It comes with a brush to rub on your feet and then we suggest putting on those soft, luxurious socks to really pamper yourself.

Come by the shop and check them both out..we also carry the Whoopie Cream (which smells heavenly and just like cupcakes!) and the Sweet Cream Milk.

We've been thinking and we are definitely over this winter weather, which apparently is coming around again this weekend? No More! So we have a little fun planned to get us through the rest of Winter to the First Official Day of Spring. For those of you who have never been to apartmenttherapy.com we suggest you do so and fast. This website offers the greatest ideas for small spaces and shows you actual people's homes. So many home decor magazines and websites show you something a designer has done for the specific magazine or website, but these are Real Homes. Here are a couple of our favorite things we have found on there...

Wall decals are a unique and inexpensive way to add interest to an otherwise bare wall. A great alternative to wallpaper, they can take up as much or as little space as you like. They come in all different patterns and colors. We think the tree pictured here is a wall decal and it also looks embellished with accent flowers and such.
